Normal Venomous Abyss Boost Rewards

Getting Normal difficulty down on Venomous Abyss drops some of the best Champion-track gear you’ll see. Clearing it also gets you into the weekly vault for some extra goodies. So here’s what you can expect from this boost:

Full clear of all 8 bosses in Venomous Abyss on Normal difficulty – no getting left behind here
292-302 ilvl gear: so you get all the best armor, weapons, trinkets and accessories you’ve been missing
Plus, there’s a chance at getting those super-rare tier set tokens from the raid bosses
And then, after the weekly reset, you’ll get a 305 ilvl item from the Great Vault – that’s one track above your Normal drops
You’ll also get gear upgrade currency for all those boss kills you rack up
On top of all that, a raid clear achievement and some fancy cosmetic rewards, including a snazzy decoration for your Player Housing

But remember, the final haul depends on which loot option you go with, so let’s see how that breaks down.

Loot Options

So, how you get the loot can really make a difference. Four options to choose from: from pretty basic to super-high-end.

Group Loot. This is the budget option: no extra cost at all. You’ll roll for items with the rest of the group, but no promises, unfortunately. Typically you’ll get 1-2 items per run – just enough to get by and do your Great Vault unlock.
Unsaved Group Loot. Now this one’s a bit better. We add in some extra players with clean loot CDs, so you’re likely to get 3-5 items per boss – it’s a decent chance, anyway. Still, no guarantees on the specific items, though.
Armor + Token Priority. Now we’re getting somewhere. This is the sweet spot, because any armor or tier set tokens that drop go straight to you – no need to roll for them. Any other shared slots – like rings, necklaces, trinkets, cloaks or weapons – you’ll still roll for, but you’ll get the rest of those other good items.
Full Priority. And finally, if you want the VIP treatment, this is the way to go. You’ll be the only one in the group, so any loot that’s suitable for you – armor, set tokens, weapons, trinkets and accessories – all goes straight to you.

Generally, a full clear will take about 2 hours, and we’ve got raids running daily.
