Winterbite is a new stasis exotic glaive added to Destiny 2 with the Lightfall’s Season of Defiance. It is the first Glaive in a heavy slot and have some unique mechanics that can be very useful for any Stasis build. Winterbite can shoot projectiles in the form of orbs that travel forward slowly, exploding on impact and freezing enemies. You can then follow-up with a melee attack performing a perfect combo.
How to get Winterbite and requirements
The first step will be finishing the Lightfall campaign. Then talk to Nimbus to gain access to the Hall of Heroes. Speak with Quinn. She’ll have plenty of quests to offer before giving the exotic “Strider” quest that rewards guardians with Winterbite. This mission involves opening Terminal Overload Key Chests in each of the 3 Neomuna locations that rotate daily.

Strider mission alone will take at least 3 days due to daily rotations. Other Quinn’s quest will also eat a chunk of your time.
