Its Master difficulty increasing the overall difficulty of the raid by adding Champions/Shields and setting the raid to 1580 Light. Master Vow of the Disciple if required to complete Vow of the Disciple seal or obtain Adept variants of raid guns. Adept mods on said guns can be extremely powerful in the Crucible, so the Masters difficulty can be useful for a PvP players.
