Essence of the Oversoul

Essence of the Oversoul is a material in Destiny 2 Lightfall that allows players to complete the Bottomless Pit quest and unlock Necrochasm’s Exotic catalyst. Once a week, players can be guaranteed to get it for completing Crota’s End raid. Also, there is a very small chance of getting it for all other encounters of the raid after completing it weekly. • Equal Vessels: Complete the Ir Yut challenge.
• Communal Rites: During each round of the Ir Yut encounter, at least player must expunge Ir Yut.
• All For One: Complete the Crota challenge.
• Singular Sensation: Complete the Crota encounter with only one player Enlightened at a time.
• Broken Throne: Complete the Master tier of Crota’s End.

Essence of the Oversoul in previous Destiny 2 expansions also featured in the past weapon upgrade to Necrochasm. If gamers missed this quest, they can still complete it and get the Exotic Auto Rifle by completing another quest related to the Season of the Witch – Crota’s End raid.
