Altars of Summoning

Altars of Summoning is one of the Season of the Witch activities in Destiny 2 Lightfall for three players. It challenges Guardians in a variety of unique quests and allows them to earn a variety of cool and unique rewards. To unlock the activity, gamers will have to go to one of these Altars and make an offering. These can be found by completing seasonal challenges, participating in events and activities. In Altars of Summoning, players will have to fight a large number of enemies to infuse one ally with the power of Eris Morn. She will use these offerings to battle Xivu Arath to get closer to The Witness.

When starting the Altars of Summoning activity, players are given a choice of difficulty levels. This determines which enemies the Guardian will face and what rewards he will receive for killing them. There are 3 offerings in total: Feeble Offering (low difficulty level), Robust Offering (medium difficulty level) and Powerful Offering (highest difficulty level). Players will encounter 4 different encounters while participating in the activity. A full list of all encounters is provided below:

• Hive (Ei Haruuz) – Arc crystals will appear throughout the arena in random order. Players can hit the crystals with a melee strike, allowing them to charge a crystal in the center to activate others. Once all crystals are reinforced, Guardians will be able to deal damage to the boss.
• Alak’nar (Hive) – a task to kill enemies that can be easily performed by the whole team. It requires killing three wizards and getting an orb from them. With three spheres, players will be able to stand on the red platforms and activate the damage phase of the boss.
• Scorn (Abominations) – The simplest encounter in Altars of Summoning in terms of its mechanics. Void crystals will appear randomly around the arena. They need to be destroyed as soon as possible so that Abominations will appear. They must be killed, after which the encounter will be considered complete.
• Ternary Minds (Vex) – The final part of the activity, in which gamers must watch out for several factors. In the center of the arena, 3 minotaurs will appear one by one, which are required to be killed immediately. In parallel, Hobgoblins will appear, which must be killed before they reach the spires around the arena.

Altars of Summoning is a real challenge for most newcomers and even experienced Guardians. • Brya’s Love – As we welcome the Season of the Witch in Destiny 2, a new Void Precision Frame scout rifle graces our arsenals.
