The characters running through the Ashenvale location are able to see Alliance and Horde progress bars. To start the PvP event, gamers must hunt enemy players down and raise the percentage on these bars. When the scale fills up, bosses spawn, and the Ashenvale combat begins. The following sections of this Guide tell our readers what to do once the event is triggered and how to play on each side of the battle.
Alliance Side
The alliance side, the same as at the Warsong Gulch, is presented by Night Elves’ guardians – Silverwing Sentinels. Alliance characters fight on their side and rank up reputation level with that faction. Elves guide their defenders to the three main spots:
- Runestone, located at the zone’s northwest side by coordinates 29.0 and 28.5, the main guardian is the Keeper of the Grove Centrius.
- Glaive stands between Astranaar and Raynewood Retreat, just in the center of the zone, and is guarded by the Keeper of the Grove Larodar. Coordinates are the following: 51.8, 54.1.
- Research Camp is located on the east of the zone, below Splintertree Post, by coordinates 72.5 and 73.0. The main protector here is Keeper of the Grove Ceredwyn.
Each campsite stands in front of the enemy spot, and one of the main tasks the Sentinel side has – is to enforce each enemy base and kill horde lieutenants located there. After clearing the enemy bases and killing guardians, Far Seer Kazragore, the Horde boss, becomes vulnerable. Alliance characters need to kill him to win the confrontation. Kazragore guides outriders to the battlefield and commands them from a place near Talondeep Path at the 39.6, 66.0 coordinates.
Characters gain a reputation with Silverwing Sentinels after killing Horde NPCs: elites mobs awards 15 reputation points, and Blademasters 200 points. Victory in battle brings 200 points, and each survived Keeper of the Grove provides 100 rep more. By following all the points of the Guide, gamers could raise their reputation by as much as 1300 points per battle. Improved relationship with a faction opens up the possibility of purchasing added in Season of Discovery PvP items from supply officer Illiyana Moonblaze. A vendor sells consumables, gear, and a unique transport, Trainee’s Sentinel Nightsaber, which Season of Discovery gamers could use before reaching 40 levels in the PvP zone.
Horde Side
Horde side that characters need to improve relationships with in Season of Discovery, represented by Warsong Outriders. They are the faction that horde characters need to rank up reputation with to recieve rewards. Orkish enforcers are entrenched in three places in the forest:
- Shredder Camp is located at the west of the location, across the road from Maestra’s post, by coordinates 21.5, 37,4, and guarded by Blademaster Jubei.
- Catapult is placed right from Alliance’s glaive base in the center of the map by coordinates 54.9 and 55.1. The lieutenant here, whom heroes need to protect, is Blademaster Tojara.
- Lumber base confronts the enemy Research camp and is located left of Splintertree Post by 69.4 and 63.1 coordinates. Blademaster Moogul the Sly manages base defense.
Horde warriors need to defeat 3 Keepers of the Grove to start the battle with the enemy leader. Once characters finish this task, they need to win the fight against the Priestess of the Moon – Felore Moonray. Felore guides Sentinels from the river position, and players can find her by the 60.1 and 72.5 coordinates.
Killing Alliance NPC’s brings to the chars reputation points with Warsong Outriders: elite mobs give 15 points, slaying of Keepers gives 200 rep, same as the head of the enemy boss, in addition, every survived Blademaster provides 100 points.
