Wandering Death is the high-level World boss in the Diablo 4 game. It is so big that the camera zooms out upon entering the fight. Wandering Deaths drops various loot, including Scattered Prism, an item that allows players to add sockets to their equipment.

Wandering Death is the end-game World Boss located in the Saraan Caldera region of Dry Steppes. It has 4 phases, like any other World Boss in Diablo 4. Alongside their distinct phases, all World Bosses in Diablo 4 game possess a unique mechanic that triggers when they are staggered. In the case of Wandering Death, two Trapped Souls mobs will spawn, which players can eliminate. Successfully obliterating these mobs will result in dealing massive damage to the boss. Other abilities are also interesting:

• Beam – Channels 2 beams from its and starts rotating dealing damage to all caught in them.
• Crater – Creates a destructive crater that detonates, inflicting damage after a brief 5-second delay. Deals massive damage and can trap players inside.
• Grasp – Launches a pair of subterranean hooks, and subsequently elevates and retrieves them, drawing players towards the source.
• Shout – Sends a Shockwave that deals damage and knocks back enemies.
• Pound – Delivers dual ground pounds in front, followed by a forceful double-handed slam behind, unleashing a barrage of spiked projectiles in wave-like formation.
• Tornados – Spawns Tornados that roam around the arena and deal damage to everyone.

Players must always pay attention to what is happening on the battlefield during the fight. A lot of damage can be avoided by positioning yourself properly. It will be easier said than done, however.
