Eternal Dungeons are a 4-player endgame activity in the Fellowship game, with infinite scaling. They are the highest tier of challenge, with uncapped difficulty and Best-In-Slot gear rewards. Eternal Dungeons are for leaderboard competition, achievement hunting and personal bests. Unlike Challenger Leagues, Eternal has no league progression. It’s a pure, endless challenge where Dungeon Rating determines rewards, with 10k Rating unlocking the Nightveil Widow mount.
Eternal Dungeons are unlocked after you defeat the Capstone Dungeons on Paragon level. Ideally, you should have an item level of 300 or higher to comfortably clear Eternal Dungeons. This item level can be obtained in Paragon runs, which are required to unlock the Eternals.
The main reward for completing Eternal Dungeons in Fellowship is the chance to get Best-In-Slot gear, specifically items with gem sockets, set bonuses, and essence bonuses. It means Eternal Dungeons are the source of the best possible version of that gear, stats-wise. As well as Gold and high-tier crafting materials.
As you progress through higher difficulties in the uncapped Eternal dungeons, the chance of getting items with gem sockets or legendary status as a reward from the completion chest increases.
But for some players, the main reward and goal of Fellowship’s game Eternal Dungeons is that they are uncapped. They want to conquer the hardest dungeons ever to get higher rankings on the leaderboards, to show off their skill and team coordination.
