Ashava, the Pestilent

Ashava, The Pestilent is 1 of the World Bosses, a new PvE open-world encounter added to Diablo 4. Those massive creatures require more than a full party of heroes to defeat and have their own unique abilities. They also offer quite a bit of rewards for those who have bested them, including Scattered Prism.

It is an artificially created entity, widely regarded as one of the most nefarious creations of the Burning Hells. After a prolonged slumber beneath Sanctuary, she resurfaced in the Fractured Peaks during the Reign of Enmity, which is when Diablo 4 is taking place. Ashava, The Pestilent is a formidable foe that will require up to 12 players to defeat. The fight will have a couple of phases and the boss has a few abilities:

• Double Swipe – performs a 360-degree Sweep and one more frontal attack. Deals massive damage in a huge radius.
• Leap – jumps toward the target and attacks it. This attack has a knocking-down effect.
• Ground Pound – pounds the ground and performs 2 attacks from the front and the back. This attack pulls the boss targets and deals massive damage.
• Acid Spit – fires 3 puddles of Acid onto the battlefield that stays for 20 seconds.
• Bite – melee attack that has 4 hits with the last hit being the strongest one.

Evading her attacks will be crucial while fighting Ashava, The Pestilent. Most of her attacks have a defining animation tied to them and can potentially be evaded. However, heroes would need help from other players to take her down.
