Location and “Corridor of Death”

The entrance to the instance is located at the very top of Hellfire Citadel. This is the final challenge of the first zone of World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade. The dungeon is linear but extremely dense with enemies. The most famous mechanic here is The Gauntlet: a long corridor where elite mobs spawn endlessly until the group breaks through to the end and kills the executioner. Without a good tank and AoE damage, it is impossible to survive here.

Bosses and Tactics

You will face three leaders of the Fel Orcs, including a famous leader of the Shattered Hand clan. Each boss comes with unique abilities and a loot table:

• Grand Warlock Nethekurse. The first boss, who uses dark magic. At 25% health, he goes into a rage and starts spamming Death Coil and spreading Void Zones. The group needs to finish him off fast, moving actively to avoid taking extra damage from the zones on the floor.
• Warbringer O’mrogg. A two-headed ogre that constantly drops aggro (Threat drop). Damage-dealing classes should keep a close eye on the threat meter and stop attacking when the boss changes targets, otherwise he will kill the group with one hit.
• Warchief Kargath Bladefist. A legendary leader and the final boss. His signature ability is Blade Dance: he starts darting between players, dealing massive damage. During this time, he cannot be tanked, and the healer must be ready to instantly restore the group’s health. He also summons adds that need to be controlled.
