The Black Morass dungeon in World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade is the culmination of the Caverns of Time storyline, where players witness Medivh opening the Dark Portal. Unlike standard WoW dungeons, there is no usual map exploration here: all activity is concentrated in one location around Medivh’s defense against 18 waves of endless attacks from the Infinite Dragons. This format requires high concentration and non-stop damage, as a single mistake from a tank or missed mob can interrupt the cast and fail the quest after 20 minutes of combat. Buy The Black Morass Boost and forget all about wiping with random groups and failing your Heroic cooldown. Our team will guarantee perfect NPC protection and the completion of the key attunement stage.
Successful completion of this event opens the doors to raid content and provides rare loot.
This dungeon requires a certain level and a quest to be completed to enter:
The entire dungeon is a one giant swamp location where Medvih is channeling a spell to open a Dark Portal. Players must protect him and let him finish the spell. They’ll have to defeat the attacking forces of the Infinite Dragonflight and 3 bosses. Enemies and bosses will appear from portals. Each portal summons a bunch of small mobs that will try to get to Medvih and break his shield, and an elite, tougher enemy that has to be killed for the portal to close. Multiple portals can open at the same time, so you’ll have to be quick about closing them. Every 8 portals, the boss will appear, and after defeating him, the group will finally be able to rest and replenish their mana and health.
The Black Morass main attraction is the Hourglass of the Unraveller trinket that drops from the Aeonus boss. It is considered to be the absolute Best-in-Slot (BiS) for melee classes all the way up to Tier 5 content. Additionally, parts of Dungeon Set 3 and a couple of other BiS gear pieces drop from the first and second bosses as well.
