The Vigilant Steward, Zskarn is the 6th boss available for boosting and killing in Aberrus, the Shadowed Crucible raid dungeon in World of Warcraft. He was added to WoW with 10.1 patch Embers of Neltharion as a part of Season 2. Players can obtain Class Tier “Chest” Tokens, armor pieces and weapons by random drops from all 4 difficulties:

Zskarn is an ancient dragonkin that was a witness to Neltharion’s many experiments. Now he’s trying to take control of the Crucible and continue his master legacy.
This boss fight has no phases. The main mechanic of the encounter will be Dragonfire Traps, Dragon Statues and Golems, which will be present on the battlefield before the fight starts. Upon reaching 100 energy, Zskarn will activate some Traps that will damage every player within 10 yards radius. Tactical Destruction ability will unleash a series of explosions at the nearest statue, dealing major damage to everyone caught in the blast. Other important spells you need to keep an eye out:
- Shrapnel Bomb
If not detonated in 30 seconds, they will deal damage to everyone, so the tanks have to deal with this problem on higher difficulties. - Animate Golems
Zskarn animates several of them to assist him with activating Traps and attacking enemies. - Blast Wave
Unleashes a Blast Wave that attacks and knocks back everyone while also applying a DoT for 6 seconds. - Unstable Embers
Zskarn picks up a random target and attacks it with AoE Spell. Healers must keep that target alive while everyone else stays away from it. - Searing Claws
Applies a stackable debuff on an active tank that lasts for 20 seconds. Tanks must rotate to avoid stacking.
